El Chalten - Hiking Capital of Argentina

One of our favorite places so far was El Chalten, Argentina. It's about 3 hours northwest of El Calafate, near the Chilean border. El Chalten only became a town in the 1980s, but it's growing fast! Great scenery and easy access - we can see why!

Best tasting water ever!

Our new friends, Adam and Megan, from St. Louis. They're on a one year trip - lucky bastards!
