El Calafate and Perito Moreno

After our trip to Ushuaia, we headed to El Calafate. While we didn't love El Calafate, the Perito Moreno Glacier was amazing. It's one of the few glaciers in the world that is still advancing.

An extra little bonus on the route to Perito Moreno is seeing one of the
places Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid hid out after leaving the US.

¡Pinguinos!

So, here's the post you've all been waiting for - the penguin post! We spent an amazing day taking a trip to Estancia Haberton and then to Isla Magallanes to hang out with them. There were two species, the gentoo, which have orange beaks and feet, and the magallenes, which are the majority. I apologize in advance for the sheer number of photos in this post, but they're just so cute!
