Getting there is half the fun!

In no particular order, here are some of the crazy things that have made us smile along the way - some content may be inappropriate for people under 18 and/or various relatives.

The infamous "car surfing dog" of Puerto Madryn

The "Dolly Parton" Dog

Anyone want a carsicle?

Most restaurants try to make you feel like you're getting a bargain.
Guess this one is a little more honest than most.

Thanks to Yeumee, we now know that this sign says "side door," but seriously,
how many people in Puerto Natales read Korean?

OK, so didn't actually see this (Aga took a picture of a photo in a book),
but who doesn't like a surfing penguin?

The funny part of this photo isn't Nat in the ladies' room. It's the soap on a stick!

Ushuaia :)

The name of the restaurant is actually Tito, but it's a little hard to tell.
I'm not sure what Tito tastes like either...

We love that there are hot water machines just for maté!

A clothing store near our apartment in Buenos Aires

A poster for an event in Bariloche - we are in SOUTH America, after all.

Another poster for an event in Bariloche - they sound just like the guys playing the reed instruments on the subway in NYC.

Tren de Alegria - "The Train to Happiness," a creepy tour around Bariloche
featuring Winnie the Pooh and Spiderman.

A tribute to our time in Atlanta. In Bariloche, Pepsi is king and healthy!

Morfy's, our favorite fast food restaurant in Bariloche. Note that the Hebrew writing does not indicate a kosher, or even curly-tail free, menu!

A baby store in Bariloche

Nuts-siete-nuts? If the wordplay doesn't work in your language, just stick with nuts!

Look carefully - what's wrong with this picture?

It's great to incorporate natural materials into your child's toys, but a slide made out of a tree trunk? That sounds like some kind of medieval torture device.

  1. I think the Hebrew in the sign means pig -- as in either curly tail or eats-too-much
