Lake Titicaca - Yes, we like saying it!

After Arequipa, we headed to our highest (and most anti-Nat*) destination, Puno. Puno is a small city on the shores of Lake Titicaca which, aside from having the funniest name, is also the highest navigable lake in the world. The main reason we went was to see the Uros - a group of 42 man-made islands in Lake Titicaca. The people who live on the islands make their homes, boats and islands out of totora reed. One of our favorite and unique spots along the way!
