San Pedro de Atacama (aka Nat's Hell)

We spent a few days in San Pedro de Atacama, a small town in the Atacama desert. The Atacama is the driest desert in the world and San Pedro is the base for excursions into the desert. Unfortunately, during our excursion to the Tatio Geysers at 4200 meters, the altitude finally got the best of Nat.

Salar de Olaroz - salt flat in the Andes in between Salta and San Pedro de Atacama

Tatio Geysers - we got up at 4 a.m. to see the sun rise!

Valle de la Luna - Valley of the Moon. SPdeA is famous for crazy, lunar-like landscapes

Mmm, llama! Surprisingly delicious!

And cute!
